In accordance with its Order of Reference of Monday, December 13, 2004, your Committee has considered Bill C-29, An Act to amend the Patent Act, and agreed on Wednesday, February 2, 2005, to report it with the following amendments:	Conformément à son Ordre de renvoi du lundi 13 décembre 2004, votre Comité a étudié le projet de loi C-29, Loi modifiant la Loi sur les brevets, et a convenu le mercredi 2 février 2005, d’en faire rapport avec les amendements suivants :

Clause 2	Article 2
That Bill C-29, in Clause 2, be amended by replacing lines 7 and 8 on page 2 with the following:	Que le projet de loi C-29, à l'article 2, soit modifié par substitution, aux lignes 7 et 8, page 2, de ce qui suit :
“respect to the service or proceeding in respect of”	« ments suivants : le service ou la formalité visés »
That Bill C-29, in Clause 2, be amended by adding after line 17 on page 2 the following:	Que le projet de loi C-29, à l'article 2, soit modifié par adjonction, après la ligne 17, page 2, de ce qui suit :
“(5) For greater certainty, this section also applies to applications for patents mentioned in sections 78.1 and 78.4.”	« (5) Il est entendu que le présent article s’applique aussi aux demandes de brevet visées par les articles 78.1 et 78.4. »

A copy of the relevant Minutes of Proceedings (Meeting No. 16) is tabled.	Un exemplaire des Procès-verbaux pertinents (réunion n^o 16) est déposé.
